Ok, this has nothing to do with the sentiment of the song (which I kind of like) but the lead singer for Everclear is so far up his own arse it isn't funny. I saw them in concert, with Matchbox 20 and Lifehouse a few years ago and he actually stopped the show and had a girl removed from the first couple of rows because she was wearing a Lifehouse t-shirt. What a jerk! Totally turned me off to the band. That and I just want to slap him sometimes. Yes, we get it, your dad was a dickhead. Get OVER it already. Get some therapy, just shut up with the whining about it.

Honestly, I'm not a huge Everclear fan myself... I like some of their songs, but I actually know very little about the group.
If I was at that concert, I'd probably be mostly there to see Matchbox 20... If he'd try to remove me from my seat I had paid for...I'd be fuming. You're right-that is really lame.

I know, Rob Thomas is AWESOME :)... I just think he's such a talented guy. The more I see him, the more I like him, lol :o)
